Two Stone Engagement Rings

Two gems can create a charming composition for an engagement ring; a wide band continues the canvas. These two designs use a wide band to add asymmetrical elements or even highlight the color of the center stones.

Three Stone Engagement Rings

A wide band can add a modern touch to a classic three-stone engagement ring. Supporting a large array of diamonds with a wide band is also a great structural choice for the ring’s longevity.

Work with a personal designer to create a one-of-a-kind engagement ring or wedding band made just for you.

Accented Engagement Rings

Tiny accent diamonds make a wide band both substantial and stylish. What combination do you prefer?

East West Engagement Rings

Positioning your diamond in an East-West orientation is a great focal point for a wide band ring style.

Round Engagement Rings

Classic round bezel and half bezel rings look stunning with a wide band. Flat, rounded, or customized, each band complements the center setting.

Gemstone Engagement Rings

For sizable gemstones, a wide band can help stabilize the gemstone during wear and offer further security. They flow beautifully with half and full bezels that further protect the edges. We love these elegant contemporary styles featuring a variety of sapphires!

Cigar Band

Here are some of our Designers’ tips for making a perfect wedding set with a cigar-style band:

Opt for a cigar band slightly wider than your engagement ring’s band, but not so wide that it overwhelms the center stone. Comfort is also a consideration, so you should choose a width that looks substantial but still feels easy to wear on your finger.

While a wedding ring is traditionally worn on the same ring finger, some brides wear their cigar band on their middle finger, creating a modern multi-finger stack.

On days when an engagement ring feels too formal or your activities make it risky to wear your diamond, the cigar band can be worn alone as a practical alternative that still honors the symbolic nature of a wedding ring.

The width of a stack of rings can also affect how tight they feel. A wider ring or stack of rings can feel tighter than a narrower ring of the same size because it takes up more space on the finger.

The substantial size of cigar bands makes them perfect for incorporating personal details – from geometric patterns to meaningful engravings – without appearing cluttered.
