Green Lake’s Designers, metalsmiths, and gemologists

Each year, INSTORE– the essential trade magazine to jewelry retailers across America – assembles a panel of industry experts to identify the coolest store; an organization that’s providing the aesthetics, feel, products, and service better than anyone out there. This year Green Lake Jewelry Works is proud to report that a panel of industry heavies tapped this stand-alone Seattle studio as the coolest trend-setting store in America right now. It took 16 years of hard work, tenacity, and the help of 45 talented designers, jewelers, and metal smiths who’ve relocated from all over the country to make it happen.

Do Seattleites know about all this masterful art being created right  in their backyard? The most respected jewelers in America do!

Before INSTORE released it’s annual rankings, the winner of this year’s nationwide search was quitely announced at the largest jewelry convention in North America – JCK Las Vegas. See Owner Jim Tuttle’s reaction to the news:

Founder Jim Tuttle is a jewelry designer, gold & platinumsmith, CAD modeler, and is on the advisory board for the Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America.

Green Lake Jewelry Works was founded by Jim Tuttle in 1996, where it originally opened in an impossibly small wedge of retail space overlooking Green Lake; the charming neighborhood in which the shop owes its name. The store has since moved to a spacious workshop in Northgate that allows for %100 locally made jewelry, to service clients in both Seattle and worldwide.

THANK YOU – To all our hardworking, creative, and passionate people at Green Lake. And THANK YOU – To all the many clients who have trusted in us and grown with us over the years!
