Brooke began her career as a Graphic Designer when she was serving in the United States Air Force. She worked with photographers and videographers on a wide range of projects including recruiting visuals, documentation of Operation Enduring Freedom, various award and promotion plaques and signage for military installations.
She’s always been an explorer, touring the world and soaking up as much food, fashion and fun as she can.
After living abroad, Brooke began working in fine jewelry in the Atlanta area. She became both GIA and DCA certified and has brought her design knowledge and creativity to Seattle.
With a bachelor’s in Psychology, Brooke has an understanding of the personal significance that jewelry has on the wearer. “Jewelry evokes emotions. Sometimes it’s that single ring that your grandmother left you that means more to you than anything else you own. It is your tangible connection to that person.” That is priceless. A collector of hats, brooches, and good stories, Brooke knows that jewelry is both an accessory and a necessity.
Several years ago Brooke became an ordained minister by request of clients. There is no greater honor than to help create the perfect bridal set, and be invited to perform the ceremony.
On her off time, Brooke enjoys spending time with her miniature labradoodle named Rudy, making costume jewelry wreaths, and fine-tuning her photography skills.
“I’m so in love with my new ring. I stopped in several weeks ago to start looking at rings for my 25th anniversary. They primarily do custom-built jewelry but do keep some pieces in stock. I tried this ring on when I was originally there as it caught my eye. After I left there, I started a wish list in their site to keep ideas for what I liked and kept in contact with Brooke, who I was working with. My plan was to have a ring designed but I kept thinking about this ring. So when I went back I tried it on again. Brooke helped me choose a blue-green sapphire that went perfectly with this setting and they swapped out the original stone for my chosen one.
Everyone there is so friendly and it’s low pressure. Highly recommend.” -ParisAnne
